Union Privilege understands that many Americans need help navigating the world of retirement planning. The Union Plus Retirement Site—UnionPlusRetirement.com—was created to help working families and individuals learn more about how to begin to prepare for retirement—using practical information, tools and links.
The Union Plus Retirement Site was created by Union Privilege, a consumer benefits organization offering Union Plus programs to union families. With Union Plus benefits, union membership "pays" at work and at home.
Union Plus benefits include:
NOTE: Union Privilege/Union Plus benefits does not offer any pensions, mutual funds or other retirement investment programs. Typically, a union member or employee receives a pension and/or 401(k) or other retirement account through his/her employer—and sometimes these accounts are negotiated by the union representing the employees. For specific questions on your employer's retirement investment opportunities, please contact your human resources department, union representative (e.g., shop steward) or your benefits administrator.
